Grower's Comments and General Information:

Although not an easy flower to grow it is well worth the extra effort. It enjoys sun to part shade, well drained moist soil and mild temperatures. Be sure and fertilize every 2 weeks with a liquid fertilizer in order to achieve a bright daisy-like flower. These plants will grow 18 to 24 inches on average but seldom bloom during the dog days of summer. Be sure and keep them watered during this time and they will bloom again in the fall. This cheery, rich, large flower daisy is excellent as a cut flower and will hold its own in a vase for awhile.

Special Considerations:

deer resistance
drought tolerant
attracts butterflies & hummingbirds

Common pests or problems: red sipder, thrip, white fly

Planting recommendations:

plant in ground
plant in hanging baskets
plant in large container
plant in window box
