Pennisetum - Bunny Tails : Pennisetum messiacum, or "Red Bunny Tails" Fountain Grass, has upright arching. Excellent for large containers. The flowers look like a rabbit's foot. Glossy green foliage with burgundy highlights, and stockier flowers . Pest and disease-free. Will grow 18-36 inches high.

Pennisetum - Red Riding Hood : Pennisetum setaceum, or 'Red Riding Hood', has upright arching. Pennisetum - Rubrum: Spectacular plumes and stunning foliage are striking in the summer landscape. Beautiful with bright flowers and silver or golden-leaved plants, breathtaking in mass plantings, hedges or as a stand-alone highlight in the garden. Perennial in zones 7 to 10, otherwise treat as an annual. Keep soil moderately moist. Grow in full sun. Will grow to 48 inches tall with great purple red flower plumes

Petunias Summer Madness: Petunias perform well in a wide range of soil types. Petunias can be set in the garden any time after the danger of hard freeze is past in the spring. Keep them well watered after planting. Plant in full sun areas. Petunias need the full sun to produce and abundance of flowers. When selecting plants for spring planting, look for those that are short and compact. Plants grown leggy and thin often have been exposed to high temperatures and long days and are slower to adjust to outdoor conditions. The presence of flowers does not indicate a superior plant. Young plants not yet in bloom often take off faster once placed outdoors. The best plants are those about 6 inches in height that have developed side branches. For good ground cover, space petunias at about 12-inch intervals

Phlox: From Germany comes this new series of vigorous, free-flowering Phlox varieties with 1/2 to 1 inch flowers. Their cascading habit makes them perfect for any type of container, including hanging baskets, patio pots and combos. They also do well as landscape plantings. Place in moist but not wet, well-drained soil. Fertilize twice a month in beds, every week in containers.

Portulaca: This full sun flowers grows low to the ground and has bright flowers. The plans are very compact. It is great for borders. We grow a mixed variety that has large double flowers.

Salvia: The sizzler series grows 12-14 inches high with brilliant color spikes on top of dark green leaves. Takes full sun and makes great colorful flower bed combined with marigolds and ageratum. Comes in red and purple.

Scaevola: Enjoy hundreds of blue fan flowers on vigorous, trailing dark green stems. This one loves summer heat and lots of light. Outstanding landscape plant with great applications in combination baskets or window boxes. If planted in containers, keep soil moist. In the landscape, water as needed.

Snapdragon "dwarf": Snapdragons can be planted 2-3 weeks before the frost free date. Snaps grow best in full sun but will do ok in partial shade. For best results cut snaps back to 3-6 inch in mid summer and the will produce new growth and flowers.
